A dip into a bit of calligraphy…
Really, I have been playing with writing, letters, fonts, LaTeX, typesetting, and related stuff since I was a kid, all the way through university. But I rarely make time to sit down with pen & ink or a calligraphy pen. Maybe it’s time to restart this with a bit more effort, as it’s a lot of fun!
More recently…
- the gilded “T” I made for a very talented young man who was tasked with working harder on his complex polymers for a Y10 assignment (😀). Hence, the echoes of the high-school chemistry set in contrast to the slightly more medieval sensibilities of the calligraphy…
- and various little bits of practice in my sketchbook.
